I know Dave Abrahams is working on a new getting started guide -- perhaps you could assist him. Also always in need of improvement is the Boost.Build documentation -- Dave is also a good person to contact about where you could start making a difference with that. Just about everything under http://boost.org/more/index.htm could use a refresh, especially http://boost.org/more/writingdoc/index.html which is ridiculously out of date -- it says nothing about the current Boost documentation tool chain.
