Hi;

Is it possible to have two rules affecting similar nodes, but
differing by whether an attribute is set? I don't think attributes
are accessible in a match qualifier for a template, but if it was,
add
the attribute in the first rule (first rule only works where the
attribute is not found).

The logic I have is that you can <xsl:apply-templates select="."/>
but
you're generating an endless loop, so the question is how to "sentry"
out of that loop.

I'm not sure I understand you without an example :-) But in any case I can't change the rule I want to forward-to if that's what you mean.

Thanks,  John.
