The right thing means "the same as before" :-) So if you don't specify a boost.root then it defaults to the same as before and the images are searched for in ./images/ just as they were before. Likewise if you specify admon.graphics.path on the xslt command line then it overrides what's in the stylesheet and the generated HTML looks for it's images in the location you specify.
