Have you given any thought to project-wide documentation resources?  
For example, project-wide icons could go in (and I'm just guessing  
here) boost/doc/images? It would also be nice for project-wide macros  
like assignments for international characters, references to SGI  
concept and class documentation, etc.

For the latter, it would probably be easy to

[include ../../../doc/international.qbk]
[include ../../../doc/sgi.qbk]
etc.

from within the qbk docs or maybe even provide a cmd-line parameter  
to quickbook - kind of like forcing an include file during compilation.
