I've recently joined this list, and I've lurked for a bit (trying to get the feel of the group), but I'm still not sure if this is on topic or not. If I need to be redirected elsewhere, please let me know.
I noticed in the Sandbox CVS there are several socket implementations and, presumably, they're all based on streams. The question I have is: Is it likely for any of them to make it into the main CVS stream? Personally, I think it's a good idea that one of them does make it into the main CVS stream (as TCP/IP is quite ubiquitous these days...perhaps more so than threads.)
