Jon,

I’m very sorry, but I’m not able to come to the conference. The situation at
work has gotten worse and there’s no way I can leave. The conference program
looks so good too. I hate to miss it.

If there is anything I can do to help with facilities from Connecticut, let me
know. Feel free to call my cell phone if you have a question.

Sorry,

Dave Jenkins

Jon,

If the microphones and cameras aren’t in Marshall’s closet, I suspect they’re
in the ACP basement. I checked, and I don’t have them.

On another note, I am very busy at work and there’s a possibility that I won’t
be allowed to leave. Is there anyone else who could take over facilities if I
can’t make it? I’m still hopeful, but I thought you should know the situation.

Thanks,

Dave

Subject: Cameras / Mics

Dave, Marshall,

Since Bash Films is again doing our recording, we don’t need our three cameras,
but we may need one. Where are the three cameras that the conference owns?

One reason that we might need one is that we’ll again film an episode of
Cpp.chat at C++Now. We did this last year and used a conference camera. We also
had a microphone that we passed to speakers. But I don’t know where the
microphone came from. Does the conference own any mics? Do you know where it
came from?

Another reason that we might need a camera is to shot video of attends making
endorsements.

We also need to think about having a “throwing” mic. This is discussed every
year during the planning meeting, but we never actually order one. Do you know
what we’d need? If we just order something like this:

                 <https://www.buyqball.com/> https://www.buyqball.com/

                 <https://getcatchbox.com/> https://getcatchbox.com/

Is that all we need to do?

Jon
