Sounds like it could be an error raised by connection problems, but I
really don't know. If you have an older ejabberd, it did suffer from
disconnects similar to this when requests arrived at the server out of
order (if I recall). I don't know whether the fix has yet been
released.

That's one problem. You are discussing a specific implementation
(ejabberd) and your questions in this email relate to that, and MUC,
the fact that you are connected via BOSH is unlikely to be a factor in
these errors. Since this list is about BOSH, and we don't all use
ejabberd, probably a better place to find help with these issues is
the ejabberd mailing list: http://www.ejabberd.im/mlist
