I seriously doubt the correctness of the statement on pipe lining in XEP-0124. As far as my understanding of pipe lining goes, it first sends all requests and then receives all answers. Because of the nature of BOSH, a new request is initiated while the answer before is still in progress and can't be initiated before. Some optimization might be done by keeping two connections alive all the time and not reopening them, but because some bugs in at least IE6, that should be disabled for IE when using SSL. best wishes, Winfried -- http://www.tilanus.com xmpp:[email protected] tel. +31.15.3613996 / +31.6.23303960 fax. +31.15.3614406
