Here's an emacs problem that's been bugging me. Usually I have no problem opening remote files using ange-ftp or tramp. But this server that I have to connect to for my current contract is giving me problems. It's a Microsoft IIS server, and I'm logging in the same way as I usually do: /username@servername:/yadayada/. Emacs tells me that it's opened the directory, but nothing shows up. If I switch to the ftp buffer, I see a session that looks normal. I can even manually cd, ls, etc. and view files/directories. If I try to explicitly specify a file, I get a buffer with that filename, but no file. What gives? -- ========[Joel-Gwynn]-[[EMAIL PROTECTED]]======= A train station is where a train stops. A bus station is where a bus stops. So now you know why they call this a workstation.
