Thanks to all those who responded to the post. I tried ghostscript and the
ATF site. The ghostscript gave up the ghost on the one I was trying to
convert. It said that the document was encrypted. The ATF site
http://www.atf.treas.gov/pdfcon.htm was better, however lost a lot of
formatting. Then I tried this shareware http://www.intrapdf.com/order.htm It
was cool. But it is available only for M$oft. Anyway it gave me what I
wanted...

Regarding the response to terrorism... However angry I am.. I am reminded of
the saying "When you are clearing thorny bushes, better wear protective
gear".
We dont know who we are going to war with.. We might bite more than what we
can chew!
