Following this way off thread I have found that the _Securing and
Optimizing Linux Red Hat Edition - A Hands on Guide_ from
http://www.linuxdoc.org/guides.html is a good resource in securing the 5
linux machines that I have been given ownership of - or maybe I just
decieving myself thinking that it has helped :-) It was written for
RH6.2, but I have used it also for RH7.0 and RH7.1.
