This is marginally on-topic, since It was created using
perl and Date::Manip, and I like to share my nifty projectlets.
So there I was, going back and forth between www.realtor.com, and http://www.mbta.com/schedmaps/commuter-rail/index.cfm looking
for houses within a reasonable commute of Boston, because I can't afford to live
in town.
But wait! Wouldn't it be better if I could just
have a clickable map of the commuter rail that would tell me what the commute
times are for any given town, and show available properties? Well
yes. Yes it would. And maybe I could choose to view all properties
within, say a 15-30 minute commute? Wow, that would be
awesome.
So after lot's of perl parsing and reverse engineering, here
it is: http://www.joelman.com/commuterrail/
