Oh, on a Friday night? It's usually packed and *really* smoke-filled on Fridays when school is in session. I'm a smoker and I avoid it fwiw. If you like billiards there is Flattop Johnnies in Kendall. There is Grendels in Harvard Sq. too. There is an excellent Thai place in the Harvard Garage( I think it's in the Garage) that has excellent and cheap cheap food if you're on a budget. There is Christopher's in Porter Sq. and a bunch of places including a couple of nice used book stores in Central Sq. So many options, so little time :) e.
