Damian Conway's Object Oriented Perl book includes an example of the Flyweight pattern, I think.  The BioPerl modules also include a lot of Factory patterns, but I'm not sure how strictly they follow the behavior in Design Patterns.

I was browsing through the comments for the damian conway article listed at /. and noticed a link to http://patternsinperl.com/ Basically it's a guy (Nigel Wetters) who is writing a design patterns book with perl examples. :-) He is just getting started, but the pattern he has finished (Factory) seemed well done to me.

So my question to the group is: would anyone be interested in a design patterns study group? I've read _Design Patterns Explained_, and flipped through _Design Patterns_, but this is not exactly easy reading. It doesn't really matter to me which text we follow, but I would like to better learn patterns. Anyone interested?
