Kenneth Graves [[EMAIL PROTECTED]] quoth: *> *>Has any better information been released yet about either the schedule *>or recommended hotels? All I know so far is June 26-28. Fly in *>on the morning of the 26th, and things get going that afternoon, or *>fly in on the 25th, since I wouldn't want to miss a drop of perly *>goodness the morning of the 26th?
http://www.cheshirelodge.com/ If you fly in on the 25th there'll be plenty of stuff going on to get you out of your room. I'll probably be taking people by "The Hill", http://www.the-hill.com/, to get some Amaghetti's sandwiches and go over to the 'Jazz in June', http://www.mobot.org/MOBOT/events/jun_02.html, festival at the Botanical garden and hit Ted Drewes Frozen Custard stand, http://www.teddrewes.com/Drewes.asp, afterwards on the 25th or 26th. I'm working on getting a 'things to do' page organised by neighbourhood for people to use along with stuff like the Katy trail out to the wineries in Augusta together...hopefully I'll have that done soon. *>Anyone have a URL for past YAPC schedules? http://yetanother.org/index.cgi?page=yapcna2001-day1 *>For hotels, I guess I'd need to know which end of the campus to *>try to be near, and then work from there. Unless there's some *>hope of a group rate. The Cheshire is ~$100 per night for a double and it's a short walk to the campus as well as having a fantastic pub and being in between the 2 best movie houses in the city. e.
