Saw this on Ryan Eatmon's interview page on Jabber.org Q: What computing projects or people do you most admire, and why? A: The Perl community has done an amazing job at staying strong and focused. It's sometimes easy to forget that Larry Wall and Dan Sugalski are normal people that are doing Perl in their spare time. Sure they got grants this year to work on Perl 6, but for the most part, they love it, and work on it when they can, and not as full time jobs.
I believe the list of Perl contributors is long but surely these two deserve high credits. G'id on yer Eato!
