There are many modules which parse mailboxes and individual emails in general.
Does there exist a perl module designed to extract useful information from a bounce message regardless of format? I dug through our mail for bounce messages recently (identified by coming from MAILER-DAEMON) and found that most but not all contain a message/delivery-status mime part. It would be nice if there were a perl module that could glean from other headers etc some of the same info found in the message/delivery-status, like who the original message was sent to, why it bounced, whether the bounce is temporary or permanent.
