I'd like to thank Damian and everyone involved in putting this very entertaining talk together. It was the first time I ventured out to a Boston.pm event after two years of lurking on the list, I figured it was time and this was as good an excuse as I was likely to get.
I realized afterwards that while feeling like the dumbest person in a small group is old hat to me, it's been a while since I felt like the dumbest person in a very crowded room. I lunged desperately for some of the low-hanging fruit; I see that we'll be losing arrows in Perl 6 and referencing array and hash elements differently, which apparently is very important when it comes to programming in Klingon and calculating superposition states of colliding molecules near context-sensitive gateways that cause violations of the second law of thermodynamics and will give us all free energy at last. Or something like that. Jolly impressive anyway, and very much fun! Dabbing at my shoulder with a large frothy sponge, Steve Linberg PS. Thrilled to see Damian using OSX. But then he also used vi. Well, I guess the Universe needs balance. -- Steve Linberg, Chief Goblin Silicon Goblin Technologies http://silicongoblin.com Be kind. Remember, everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. _______________________________________________ Boston-pm mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/boston-pm
