Woudl now be a good time for all those of us who think you're doing a great job - or at least don't think you're as unto the barbarians sacking Rome - to gather round and stroke your collective egos? I used to be a naysayer until Damian talked about things at YAPC::E and cleared up a lot of misconceptions I had. OK, so I'm not about to become a perl6 fanboy, but I am at least willing to withhold my criticisms until there's something to criticise!
And if, once it's out, I decide that perl6 sucks syphilitic donkey nads, I'll still have perl5. Hell, I'll still have perl4 for some things. And awk.
