Could be that the spammers are adapting. I've seen a bunch of spam lately that is clearly targeting Bayesian filters. (Things like including multiple Received lines that mention arbitrary hosts in the hope that you've whitelisted one, or that your Bayesian associates that hostname with "good" email.)


That's one reason we don't do content filtering in our spam filters. Who needs a running battle with spammers. (Speaking of which, if my mail ends up in hotmail's junk filter, please let me know. I've gotten indications that hotmail has randomly decided to tag somewhere.com as a spammer.)
