Lunch? Food ALWAYS gets my attention... ;) and if Perl 6 is a definite "no go", then I'd vote for "Intermediate OO" and "Advanced Parsing w/Parse RecDescent" which is already on your main list. Every time I use them at work, I get how much I still have to learn about them. (and how much I've forgotten.)
