FYI, the stretch of Congress St that Boston.com is on has been designated
as residential only for at least as long as I've been attending meetings
(since 2000), but the neighborhood seems to be all or mostly commercial,
and there have been several times that I took a chance on parking out
front & got away with it (i.e. almost every meeting for over a year).
This may not work anymore.
I meant to mention it at or before the last meeting, but after a PM
meeting a couple of months ago I saw that a car had been ticketed for
parking out front. Apparently, the Boston Police have finally decided to
start enforcing the marked parking regulations in the neighborhood.
If anyone is planning on driving -- and I assume that for a Damian Conway
meeting, there will be at least a few -- it may no longer be worth it to
try your luck with the "not *really* residential" parking anymore.
HTH.
