Frickin' php forum sites...
Isn't this overkill? There have only been a few votes so far, and "Everyday Perl" seems to be well ahead of the others.
Since people have been expressing preferences for multiple talks, I've used an arbitrary polling method of:
* first (or only) preference gets one point * second preference gets half a point * third preference gets a quarter-point * if no preference stated, all indicated options get a point
By this reckoning, I've got these tallies:
Everyday Perl 4.5 Suff Adv Tech 3 T::S::C 1.5 All others 0
Unless more people speak up -- please? -- it seems like Everyday Perl is the one more people have leaned towards, partly because S.A.T. was given at YAPC and several people have already seen it recently.
Can't we just count up tallies on the list rather than use PHP? :-)
