so let's either schedule a social meeting (ain't had one in a while) or
invite/beg/extort randal into doing a talk for a tech meeting (which we
could follow with a social gathering somewhere).
the bad news is that the sox are in town that week so we wouldn't want
to meet at BU as usual.
randal doesn't know his exact schedule yet so we may be winging this
meeting too.
