Description of Position Reporting to Vice President of Technology, a Software Engineer's primary responsibility is developing core internal and external applications. A merit based management philosophy rewards hard work, ambition, attention to quality and level of work production. Ideally, the candidate is adept at: * Developing LAMP applications that run under mod_perl * Working at each stage of the project life cycle from developing specs through design and implementation. * Identifying how new functionality would impact other elements of applications. * Working both independently and as part of a team * Working with non-technical staff to develop applications that address their needs. * Testing * Desired skills: 3-4 years Perl, mod_perl, MySQL, cvs, Linux. Apache administration a plus. * We're looking for a permanent, full-time on-site employee.
