The successful candidate must have extensive experience designing, developing, and testing Internet-based applications which meet business requirements. The Technical Architect helps CareScout and customer teams build sophisticated information technology solutions. Besides leading a small software engineering team, overseeing outsourced elements and contributing to corporate strategy, be prepared to roll up your sleeves and code. *Requirements* * Experience managing a software engineering team. * 4 plus years coding in Perl primarily. * Substantial experience and proficiency using the following tools-- Perl, mod_perl, MySQL, cvs, Linux, Apache. * Ensure that the members of a team execute assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner in order to meet project timeframes and client expectations. * Must be a strong team player, interested and able to learn new technologies. *Qualifications* Professional Experience & Credentials * College degree.
