First, a followup of last night's meeting, then planning for tomorrow night's social meeting.
About 25 people came to the tech meeting last night at BU. brian d foy presented his talk on Automating Software Releases, in which he told us about release(1) and Module::Release. Next, brian showed us the second issue of The Perl Review, and answered questions about the magazine. Finally, he pulled out the infamous orange shirt that Michael Schwern stripped out of during the TPF auction at last year's OSCon. brian plans to take pictures of people wearing the shirt in various places (a la the travelling gnome). Thanks to: Bill Ricker for coordinating with brian, Sean Quinlan for reserving the room, and Greg London for sponsoring the pizza. We'd like to have a social meeting tomorrow night while brian is still in town. Let's get suggestions for a location; somewhere convenient to the T. We're not going to let a little snow stop us from having a good time!
