I am in the 'language boondocks ' here. I am talking about doing a POST
from a mainframe language called NATURAL!
Perl is available on the mainframe in the Linux or Unix Systems Services
environment, neither of which interface seamlessly with the traditional
z.OS environment.

I am getting interested in the Macs. My son is a big advocate of that.

If you install these scrips on a Mac, be sure not to overwrite the
standard
Unix "head" program with the "HEAD" script. Remember, the Mac OS X file
system
is not case-sensitive!

I learned this the hard way. Fortunately, I was able to easily recover the
overwriten
"head" file from a backup disk.
