Hi Robert, As a suggestion, you might try to see if the vendor has an RPM for this package. I have not admin'd a SuSE box but I bet that you can use their apt-get/up2date/yum equivalent tool and install it. It will likely be named something along the lines of postgresql-perl-VERSION-ARCH.rpm
