I currently have the following position available for immediate
consideration in central Illinois: UNIX/LINUX/Windows Application
Infrastructure Support Engineer:
General:
* 2 to 3 years experience
* Be able to work in a team and as individual
* Willing to work in a shifts (the team provide 24/7 support)
* Willingness to work long hours when needed.
* Troubleshooting skills
* Working according to procedures.
* Ability to improvise when no solutions or answer found.
* Past experience with Amdocs environment will be an advantage
* Ability to learn and apply new material
* Initiative.
Technical:
* Knowledge and experience with Unix - this is a must.
* Familiarity with HP, SUN, NT platforms
* Scripting (mainly ksh and perl).
* SQL
* Familiarity with some of the following will be an advantage:
Weblogic, Tuxedo, Q manager, Oracle.
* Familiarity with Web environments
