Job Summary:  
Documentation tools programmer ("toolsmith") will share responsibility
with current toolsmith to provide and support tools for the authoring,
production, and delivery of electronic and printed documentation.   

Responsibilities:  
Assist with completion of FrameMaker to XML conversion 
Support and extend XML-based authoring and production tools 
Develop and support tools to meet Web site requirements for doc 
Support integration of documentation with content management systems 
Document tools and procedures and provide required training and support 

REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering 
Experience programming in a scripting language (ideally Perl) and Java 
Familiarity with XML 
 
PLUSES: 
Experience as a toolsmith in a documentation group 
Knowledge of DocBook, DITA, or Arbortext Command Language 
Familiarity with graphics formats and font formats
