WEB DEVELOPER FOR HISTORY-RELATED NON-PROFIT The Churchill Centre, a non-profit 501C3 organization, seeks to develop an informational site for students about Winston Churchill. The site should be searchable and will contain images, data and text. The site will also contain a glossary, a timeline and links to related content within the site and to www.winstonchurchill.org, our parent site.
We would like: - a Perl- or Ruby-based solution - a template-based system incorporating our designer's themes and navigation plans - a content management system to help organize our information and update the site's content easily - Section 508 compliancy We're looking for someone who: - resides in the Boston area - is available on a part-time basis for at least six months - will offer suggestions and recommendations and is a team player - will work with two third-party vendors to incorporate an email newsletter and on-line courses. Our current vendor choices are www.ConstantContact.com and www.ScribeStudio.com Both the educational director and the designer work from their homes, as will the web developer.
