o'reilly probably won't care as anyone who finds out the code will
likely be a perl monger somewhere. since o'reilly is selling these
directly, they just lose the retail markup (or close to that) that they
would lose selling it wholesale to stores. this is just a directed
promotion to sell perl books to known perl hackers. if it leaks beyond
that, it won't an issue i bet.
