Point !  Yes, would count that as a major win also. P6:Rules is a
great step beyond P:RD   into the space I used to use Prolog for ...
which makes me very happy to see that the "cut" syntax (commit to
parse here) is no longer "experimental".

Yeah, the new operators are going to be fun. Once I start using them
I'll be annoyed at not being allowed to use them in production code
...
