a new client of mine is looking for a full-time intermediate level perl
hacker. the job can be salaried or contract to perm. it is onsite in
downtown boston (south station/chinatown) but some telecommute is
possible (i will be mixing on-site and telecommute).
the primary work is maintaining and improving a small set of scripts
which handle a simple work flow of files passing through their
application server. the scripts use several basic cpan modules, are
socket based and are event loop driven.
i am consulting with this firm on this project as well and will be
bringing this new worker up to speed. i am also working on future issues
including refactoring the code, making it more robust, etc. so if you
would like the opportunity of working with me as your perl mentor, this
could be the spot you are looking for! (or you could run away in phear)
