Net::hostent is part of the core and so maintained by Perl 5 Porters. Even though Tom Christiansen signed the module some years ago, it is very likely that you'll get faster feedback from the porters or even get a message from Tom recommending you to send questions to p5p.
The porters can be reached at [email protected] mailing list. You may subscribe to the list (if you want) by sending an empty e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and answering the confirmation message.
