O'Reilly is sponsoring an evening of talks and tech play in Cambridge. I really think it will be quite informative, but alcohol will be available and the crowd should be a fascinating group to mingle with.
Could all of you take a look at the site and see whether you'd like to submit a five-minute talk, or whether you know anyone in Boston area who might be appropriate to do such a talk? We have over a dozen so far, but want a lot more. http://www.oreillynet.com/ignite/blog/2007/05/ignite_boston_cambridge.html Feel free also to contact me for details (although the event is still in flux). My own blog on it is here: http://www.oreillynet.com/onlamp/blog/2007/05/join_us_for_leadingkludge_proj.html I'd also appreciate it if you could point colleagues and department members to the web site; talk it up for us. -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Andy Oram O'Reilly Media email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Editor 10 Fawcett Street voice: 617-499-7479 Cambridge, MA 02138-1175 fax: 617-661-1116 USA http://www.praxagora.com/andyo/ Stories at Web site: The Bug in the Seven Modules Code the Obscure The Disconnected ---------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ Boston-pm mailing list [email protected] http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/boston-pm
