Job Title: WEB DEVELOPER Job Number: part-00034618 Location: Boston, MA The Computer Services Core supports the research and administrative computational needs of the Department of Molecular Biology (the largest research lab at Mass General Hospital) and some affiliated research groups.
Responsibilities: The Computer Services Core is looking for a Web Applications Programmer to work as part of the server support team. Duties include meeting with faculty and staff to design ways to manage administrative and research data. Assist the rest of the server support team with routine tasks including backups and server setup and maintenance. Also help the rest of the computer services team when needed. Requirements: Strong Perl, PHP & SQL skills. Administrative experience with MySQL and Apache and experience with Web page design. Must be comfortable with a Unix command line environment. Mac & Windows server experience also helpful. Must be able to handle many different tasks simultaneously.
