O'Reilly has a 14-day free promotional trial of their Safari Books
Online right now - I'd suggest going to their website and signing up.
Then (re)read Learning Perl - it's not that long and is easy to read. It
will do at least half of what your test has ( a nice little refresher for
the rest of us - thanks!). Then you can access the Camel book online for
the rest - most Unix/C commands translate into Perl fairly directly
(open(), read(), opendir(), readdir(), etc.), so if your C is better than
your Perl look for those instructions in the Camel reference listings.
