Echoing what Tom said between when I started writing this and now
(distracted by T-storm) -
I also agree with Tom; my YAPC talk is much too narrow (and hardly
touches on Perl 6 at all).
While BLU might want an internals talk, I'm guessing they really want at
Features + Timelines talk, and would find a 5.10 / 5.12 / 6.00 roadmap
update useful.

I would like to be able to give such a talk, to Boston.PM if nowhere
else, but I doubt I could prepare one by August 20th -- I know much less
about Perl evolution than about Parrot. (The fact that I'm scheduled to
do the August 19th release of Parrot doesn't help, either. :-)
As an aside, maybe BLU would be interested in a Parrot/Perl 6
Installathon. The YAPC event [1] went pretty well, though it might have
been more interesting if there had been more Perl 6 examples ready and
waiting for people to play with. I doubt I could prepare for that in
time, either; I mention it as a future possibility.
