This thought occurred to me, too, but I tend to agree with Uri.  The
only real temptation this lays in front of him is the opportunity to
harrass would-be posters into using his services.  But if they are in
the process of announcing the job to mailing lists, then it's probably
too late for Uri to influence them not to post.  Or it's often a job
shop posting, in which case Uri's already lost out.  If not, he can
always contact the poster afterwards, regardless of who moderates.

   So even in the worst case, there's not much Uri could do to abuse the
position.  (And that even assumes a "worst case Uri," one significantly
worse than the one I've met.  ;-)
