Basic job description: Assist with in-progress rewrite of existing application based on ActivePerl (Win32).
Required skill-set: Strong knowledge of ActivePerl/win32, DBI, MSSQL. Should have good application vision/design skills. Desirable but not required: knowledge of Goldmine (CRM package), Win32::API(::Prototype)/Windows DLLs. Good communication skills a big plus. Position type: Sub-contract position. Work will be performed in conjunction with the development side of an end product. Pay range: Dependent on your job-compatible skill level but anticipating $30-65/hr. Placement: Direct with company. Location: Ipswich, MA (my home office is 10 min walk from Ipswich Commuter Rail station) or telecommute acceptable (w/occasional onsite meetings as required).
