Some XUL-based stuff (I saw a .xul extension somewhere on his display), possibly the "Takahashi-method XUL slideshow" at: http://piro.sakura.ne.jp/xul/applications/ Or perhaps this other version: http://www.seesaw.it/en/toolbox/xul-slideshow-toolkit I first ran into that slideshow system when looking at some Moose presentations that also use XUL and run only on Firefox.
