Follow-up - A small number of folks drifted in slowly, peak 6?
We made it a workshop at the round tables. Steve investigated ModPerlLight, and fought ssh, as documented in his email. Entouragement was given to all to consider contributing to the PerlAdvent calendar. See http://perladvent.pm.org/FAQ-submit.html; once you subscribe to the author's list [instructions there] you'll get access to the s33kr1t authors' wiki which has the rest of style and mechanical guidelines. We really need some new blood, so you'll be generously welcomed, and Jerrad and I mentor new authors so it's not scary soloing. Rickie might join us, he had a couple plausible ideas; Steve's modperllight may appear "soon". Announcement - we *do* have our usual room for Dan MacNeil on Perl for community organizers in January. Assignment for spring term pending. bill On Sun, Dec 6, 2009 at 10:01 PM, Bill Ricker <[email protected]> wrote: > Next Tech Meeting * Tuesday, December 8, 2009 7pm MIT Sloane Tang Ctr > E51-376 Amherst St Cambridge > > - Topic - * Stone Soup / Lightning talks* / or the dreaded > PowerPointKaraoke<http://boston.pm.org/kwiki/index.cgi?PowerPointKaraoke> > - list of good perl stuff linked above > - or better, bring your own short talk or topic > - Tech Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at MIT > (directions) <http://boston.pm.org/kwiki/index.cgi?MITDirections>. > - *NOTE* - Lately the lot has filled early, overflow is to Hayward > lots (avoid MEDICAL RESERVED spaces!).
