I don't have the energy to see such a long video. I hate most technical
videos. Is there a transcript?

Branching and merging are easy in svn.

Never had to do that.

OK. You're timing up "bzr diff" for a specific file that has not been changed.
Please:

1. Change one of the files by doing "echo Hello >> file".

2. And then run "bzr diff" with no extra arguments.

Furthermore, like I said in my blog post, I was unable to "bzr branch" the
"lp:inkscape" repository because the process became very slow and ended up
terminating with a non-functional clone of the repository that I couldn't use
"bzr pull" on. It took many minutes and left me needing to do it all again. By
all means, it should have let me resume from the place I got to, but no - it
gave me a broken and useless checkout. How can I effectively contribute to
"lp:inkscape" with its inane choice of bzr?

Regards,

        Shlomi Fish

Bzr is slower than Subversion in combination with Sourceforge.
