How many are usable libraries, and how many are thin layers/"objects" in massive toolkits such as Moose? The former are what I would call growth, and the latter not so much. That's not to say Moose::foo::bar could not be a meaningful addition/growth, but if it's simply a container for a date or some cuh, that .pm is not so significant.
