Has anyone checked out the free Perl course at http://code.he.net/ to

i will check it out later tonight. i use he.net so i have a small amount
of connection with them.

blechh. it is a trivial thing and i wouldn't even call it a course. all it does is have a perl prompt and show you a line of code to enter. i just cut/paste them and it prints the expected result and i pass that question. no docs, notes, explanations, variations or anything but entering the shown code. useless IMNSHO. it even goes too fast as in 11 array questions it gets into slicing, split and join by the end. you can't jump to those without real understanding of some perl basics. i would recommend some good books, the perl docs and even the o'reilly college for much better training. i will be calling he.net and give them my feedback on this.
