hi all,
i have finally added ricky's patch to template::simple. the token_id
option can be used to override the regex used to match tokens in the
markup. you can download the beta at:

the git for it is at:

test it out and let me know if you have any issues. there are some pod
changes too (the new option and include rendering).
if no issues in the next few days, it will go to cpan.
