I don't think I could have a talk ready by Tuesday since I have a bunch of other commitments. However, at some point in the future I could speak about using perlbrew and carton to manage CPAN modules to create a consistent environment across machines. The talk would focus on how we used these tools in the media cloud project to solve our install issues and ensure that developers had the same module versions and environment as the production server. I could discuss how we moved from needing days to install all of our modules to having a simple script that installed everything in a half hour.
So if there's interested in a talk like this, I'd be happy to put something together -- I'd just need to know a couple of weeks before hand to make sure I had time to put together a good presentation.
