Indeed. Also, a little 'Full Disclosure' might be appropriate
at this point:

Please be advised, folks, that information submitted via
this list will indeed be investigated by professionals who have
been doing this for a while, and any information which may lead
to the detection, take-down, and identification of any ollegal
activity (depending on jurisdiction, of course) will most likely
be made avialable to the appropriate law enforcement organization.

This is a Good Thing (tm) as far as I'm concerned.

Just wanted to ensure that was clear. :-)

Maybe some formatting rules would be usefull for c&c informations, so
it would be easy to parse the mails, and setup ears in channel.
Or save time dropping moderation, and spend it maintaining a list of
all botnets, so one can drag informations about c&c via
getservers.php?status=online&count=500&orderby=date
would make it too.

If you want to beat them, fight them by publicity, allow everyone to
join their network, allow everyone to see whenever they ddos.
Provide information and handy tools to make it as easy as possible for
everyone to see what is run out there, so you dont have to tell when
they can see it by themselves easily.

I doubt its still fun ddosing when you know your net got listed and
you have about 50 people logging your attacks.
